Call for applications: Scolarships for Syrian students

The French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs has launched a call for applications to a scholarship program for Syrian students living in exile in France and enrolled in a French higher education institution.
The scholarships are awarded for a period from 12 to a maximum of 24 months to students with Syrian nationality, born after 09/01/92 in priority and attending a master’s level training in a French higher education institution, in one of the following areas:
- Engineering sciences and natural sciences: agronomy, life sciences, mathematics, physics, and chemistry, etc.
- Economics and management;
- Political sciences and law;
- Architecture and urban planning ;
- Arts.
The awarded students will receive
a monthly allowance of €700, social care, assistance for finding student housing (
CROUS), educational support, and will be exempted from the payment of tuition fees and Student and Campus Life Contribution (
CVEC).
The French host institution will receive as well
a grant of €1,000 per year and per student to implement tutoring and therefore to further the students success.
