Descriptif :
CDEFI is organising a European seminar on the theme of ‘Engineering, technology and society: towards responsible, inclusive and critical innovation’ in Brussels on Wednesday 5 November from 10am to 4pm.
The event will take place at the Maison Irène et Frédéric Joliot Curie, located at 100 rue du Trône, where the CDEFI has its European representative office.
This seminar will combine engineering and social sciences to explore how to better prepare engineers to understand societal issues, engage in dialogue with society and respond to criticism or misinformation, and how to encourage democratic ownership of technologies while anticipating their impact on work, skills and social balance.
