15/07/2015
The Franco-Mexican Forum for Research and Innovation was held on July 9th and 10th in Paris, two years after the first forum in Mexico City, which revived cooperation between both countries.

Mexican president Enrique Peña Nieto's state visit in France on 14th-15th July provided a unique opportunity to shine a light on bilateral cooperation actions between France and Mexico in higher education and research.

The forum's second edition, organized by the French Ministry of National Education, Higher Education and Research, in partnership with CONACYT, highlighted exchanges between French and Mexican actors, building bilateral cooperation based on shared priorities and taking into consideration training, research and innovation factors through synergies with help from industrial actors.

The CDEFI, as well as other French Higher Education and Research organisms (CPU, Maison universitaire franco-mexicaine, Campus France and CONACYT) signed this cooperation agreement that aims at defining new scientific orientations, developing mobility flows and seeking out synergies between academic actors and companies in both countries.
